1. Item 1: Prejudice
If someone is walking in a secluded area in the night, and a group of senior citizens who are walking with canes in hand, come from the opposite side, the person will not feel threatened. However, if instead of senior citizens, three teenagers dressed in jeans and t-shirts with lots of metal chains around their neck are approaching from the other side, the person might feel threatened a little.

==>This is an example of prejudice based on the age of people. The senior citizens are walking in secluded area in the night with canes in hand, coming from the opposite side makes people feel less threatened than three teenagers dressed in jeans and T-shirts with a lot of mental chains around their neck. Perhaps these teenagers would do nothing, but still make others have suspicions about their action. It is a negative opinion formed about teenagers today without knowledge of what they do.
2. Item 2: Stereotype
Italian or French people are the best lovers.

==>This is an example of stereotype indicating that all Italians and Frenches are best lovers. It is based on the countries they live and represents all citizens in those countries. Perhaps in those countries, there are a lot of people who are not the best lovers, but people still say like that because it is their opinions about such communities, not only one person.
3. Item 3: Discriminaion
Ivan who is of Russian nationality, is employed by a Company to make deliveries in a white van in the London area. Ivan has been employed by that Company for three months. When he makes a delivery to one particular Company, the Foreman at that Company who we will call Fred at Ignorant Limited loses his temper with Ivan because he is late on a delivery because of traffic. He says to Ivan “You ignorant Russian bastard”. Ivan is very upset about this and complains to his boss at Deliveries Same Day Limited. His boss writes to Ignorant Limited and complains about their Foreman, Fred.

==>This is an example of discrimination. Ivan has been called a “Russian bastard” which is a direct reference to his nationality. Discrimination on the grounds of nationality can amount to race discrimination. Ivan is late on a delivery because of traffic. But the Foreman losses temper with Ivan. He is treated like that only because of his nationality.
